Léna is a very direct, cheerful little girl. She really likes crafts, drawing and painting.

At school, technology is her favorite subject. Dancing is her other hobby, she is a member of the folk dance group Tánc-lánc in Pápa.

She misses her friends and classmates very much.

What she wanted from the Magic Lamp was a stylus tablet with which she could create in the hospital and, of course, watch fairy tales and play games.

We would like to thank the organizers of the Diplomatic Charity Fair, the Budapest Diplomatic Spouses Organization and our private sponsors, for helping us make Lena's wish come true.

With a fabulous trip to Disneyland, the dream of 3 children came true at once.

It was all their first flight and they had a truly fantastic experience: they were treated like VIP guests and the children were even allowed to sit in the cockpit. After landing, we immediately went to the hotel.

The children received nice gifts, then headed to the room, then to the park, where a rather crazy roller coaster ride followed. Adrenaline filled and we spun until 10:00 p.m.. A quick dinner followed, then we slept a lot, and the next day we woke up fresh.

After a rich and delicious breakfast, we hurried to the park, where we saw a lot of beauty: roller coaster, enchanted castle, the world of Peter Pan, the splendor of Snow White and so much more that it is impossible to describe. We spent the whole day in this fabulous place. Everyone really enjoyed it. We took pictures with Bell and Cinderella and had a good chat with them.
Then came another snappy roller coaster ride, boating with Pirates of the Caribbean, then the beautiful world of Peter Pan and we went to shoot the monsters with a laser.

The afternoon parade was followed by an early dinner and then we rested for an hour before watching the fantastic evening fireworks. The fireworks and other experiences completely mesmerized everyone, and the children watched this dreamy show huddled, tired, happy and a little cold. Back at the accommodation, it was past midnight before we arrived in the room with the surging crowd.

She had a lot of experiences. She highlighted three things about his absolute favorite experiences:

Bence's favorite fairy-tale heroes are Sam, the firefighter and the dogs of the Paw Patrol.

He asked the Magic Lamp for different toys so that he could play lots and lots of games until he could go
home from the hospital.

Bence was delighted with the building toy, the double-decker bus, the board games, the firefighter's
helmet and the megaphone, but he was most impressed by the tool kit. He immediately started a little
DIY: drilling, sawing, screwing, and the work burned under his hands. 😊

Krisztián's wish was a garden nest swing, so that he can swing as much as he wants in the fresh air, or relax in it, if he feels like it.

Attila's wish was a smartphone on which he can not only keep in touch with his friends and relatives, but also surf the Internet, play games and listen to music on it. He was delighted with his gift and excited to try out the coveted device.

Adrienn had a long-cherished desire to go to Iceland and discover its natural beauties. She was excited to travel and her dream became a reality this weekend! Even the flight was a great experience for Adri, who had never flown before. She was the first to board the plane, and while the other passengers were boarding, she got to know the captain and the flight attendants in the cockpit, she could even try out the pilot's seat, operate buttons and levers, while she was told many interesting things about the aircraft. The Wizz Air crew made the already beautiful trip even more special with their kindness.

We arrived at the hotel in the evening, but did not spend much time there, we went to search for the northern lights, the Auroras. We went to the port to the Lighthouse, where, together with several tourists, we waited for more than an hour for the special celestial phenomenon to appear somewhere. Unfortunately, the aurora eluded us, but the next day's fabulous excursion made up for it.

After breakfast, we took a full day bus trip to explore Iceland's southern region, the iconic Golden Circle. We drove in sparkling sunshine through impressive natural landscapes. Our first stop was a huge crater, then we roamed the spectacular Geysir area, where the springs were boiling and erupting into the air every few minutes. Our next stop was the Gullfoss waterfall, part of which froze to ice, that presented us a fabulous sight. We ended our trip with a walk in Pingvellir National Park.

I'm sure this fantastic weekend – the many beautiful natural treasures, the atmosphere of Reykjavik, the delicious food, the flight – will be an experience of a lifetime for Adrienn.

Luca is a very cheerful, balanced little girl who doesn't show at all how difficult treatments she has undergone recently. From Magic Lamp, she wanted a tablet on which she would be able to watch her favorite fairy tales – Spartacus, The Smurfs and Jano the Goblin cartoons – even with her brother.

Luca even thought about not disturbing others by watching movies, so she asked the Genie for headphones for herself and her brother.

Since we were able to grant her wish before one of the controls, Luca went to the blood test in a much better mood and with more courage, with her tablet in hand.

Dorka's long-standing wish came true when she could spend two fantastic days in Legoland, in Germany.
She herself describes her experience:

' When dreams come true.

After a long wait, the day of departure has arrived. We got up early to take the train to Budapest. Here we met our lovely companions, Peter and Csilla. We started the journey of hundreds of kilometers by car. Interrupting the trip, we stopped in Passau. Here we had a delicious lunch and went on a short sightseeing tour and then continued our journey.


We arrived at the accommodation, Pension Wolf, in the evening. We got a very comfortable room, where we could rest from our fatigue. The next day after breakfast we left for Legoland, where we got a two-day ticket. So we had time to see and try everything. The park is huge and there are plenty of games in it. Our escorts also accompanied us.

We were inside from opening to closing both days. Only our courage limited what we tried.

Although we also sat on it, which we didn't plan on: the dragon roller coaster. We had a great experience. My favorite was a small roller coaster and a small train that goes around the park. We have tried these several times.

On the second day, we also looked around and shopped in the shops in the park. I also got the park's mascot, the dragon.
After a long journey we arrived back in Pest, where we said goodbye to Peter and Csilla and travelled home by train.

Áron thought for a long time about what to ask from the Magic Lamp. He waited with his wish until he no longer had to go to treatments. In the end, he chose a black Csepel bike, which he was looking forward to riding around the neighborhood in his free time.

Noel unfortunately spends a lot of time in hospital, so the tablet that he got from the Magic Lamp will be a great help for him to watch fairy tales and play games. Time will certainly pass more quickly.

Liliana is a very creative big girl. In her free time she mostly creates, she is talented in painting, writing and making music. She is a homeschooled student and often has to spend longer periods in hospital.

She also "devours" books on these days as well, last year she read 186 books, this year already 13. Lili not only reads, but also writes herself, has a novel in preparation and writes poems as well.

She started learning acoustic guitar last March and is progressing so well that she wanted an electric guitar and a case from Magic Lamp. Lili was excited to finally get her new instrument in her hands. She gave us a spontaneous little concert where we could listen to Lili's own composition.

We wish Lili full recovery, much fun and success in the future!

Zalán attends a bilingual grammar school and plans to continue his studies in computer science. He loves computer games and editing programs. His parents gave him a new computer for his birthday, but the monitor, which was the same age as Zalán, remained the same.

He wanted a better matching to the computer and more serious monitor. Zalán is very happy that he got exactly the type of monitor he looked for and wanted so much.

Zoé is a lively little girl, but due to her illness she cannot go to kindergarten at the moment. She loves dogs very much, all she wanted was a dwarf Pomeranian to play with all day. She has already guessed its name, she will call her little pet "Csoki"(Chocolate). She secretly hoped that they would enjoy the decorated Christmas tree together at Christmas, so we rubbed the magic lamp to fulfill Zoé's wish.

The big "meeting" took place before Christmas, when they came to Budapest for a control examination. Chocolate immediately climbed into Zoé's hands and curiously sniffed and kissed its new owner. The little girl could hardly believe that her dream had come true. Although they still had a long and tiring journey home in the afternoon, the time flew by in no time with the dog.

Hanna goes to school, but in her free time she likes to help with cooking, she likes to play and, of course, watch fairy tales. Her favorite fairy tale character is Princess Elsa from Frozen.
Her wish was a bed in which she could feel like a princess too.

Lejla lives with her parents and little brother in Rudabánya. She recently celebrated her 8th birthday for which her wish was an Xbox game console.

Dear Genie! I don't know about you in today's world, but I'm way behind when it comes to the newest technology. I had only seen Norbi's request, the virtual glasses, in movies, so it was this little boy who enlightened me on how they work.

Norbi is a very determined, conscious, and smart boy who, in addition to his studies, also enjoys spending time in nature. These glasses, on the other hand, guide him into a virtual world, offering more topics and experiences.

I'm confident that Norbi can distinguish between reality and the virtual world, and his values are in the right place.

Keep it up, Norbi!

Linett wanted to furnish his children's room, so he asked the Magic Lamp Foundation to do so. After a long search with her mother, we found the princess pink bed and wardrobe that Linett wanted.

The Genie of the Magic Lamp very soon brought the beautiful pink furniture into their home. After assembling, Linett immediately took possession of her renewed room and felt like a real princess in her new bed! It was a great joy!
