Fanni turning 13 and becoming a mature teenager longed for a laptop.

She looked at the gift with big brown eyes, she was really happy that she received this present right on children’s day. We also wanted to make sure she gets the present before June the 19th, because that’s when her birthday was.

Happy birthday and we hope by the next time we meet you can use the machine as a professional.

Balázs arrived to the grade crying. He didn’t understand why he had to come up when they only came for one blood test, which luckily turned out to be fine. No matter how much we tried to cheer him up, we couldn’t. So quickly we took him up to the playing room were the surprise was waiting for him. First he didn’t want to believe his eyes, then later he was commanding us to open it.

On a gray, cold, rainy day on the first of June we set of to Adásztevel. Where Ákos a lovely three year old little boy, with the intervention of the Wonderlamp Foundation and the support of the Földgázszállitó Zrt., became a happy owner of a storage batterie, two person little car.

The little boy when we arrived was still sleeping. His mother and little sister greeted us with joy. His mother briefly told us about the struggle they had with the little boy’s illness. The moment Ákos received the gift his face lit up. Strenuously and gayly he played with the little car and in a few moments time he learned the usage.

Have a wonderful time playing with it, and thank you for the help and support of Sir László Késmárki the representative of Földgázszállitó Zrt.

Unfortunately Adrienn similarly to her little sister suffer from a croncical illness which they diagnosed in December.

Since winter because of her serious illness she couldn’t even take part in school lessons that is why from our Foundation she asked for a laptop, with wich she could know keep contacted with her friends, study and even send her homework.

Astonishedly and happily she looked at the laptop and with a big smile on her face thanked us many times!

On a beautiful sunny spring Sunday with two of our new voluntary workers we set of to Túricsere to the 14 year old Adam. His request was a portable DVD player which he needed because of the many many travelling and medical treatment. Adam loves story films and also children’s films.

He was really surprised because he didn’t know we were coming. He was over the moon and very delighted with the present. After we assambled it, and watched a short film we said goodbye and set of.

This was an unforgettable day for us as well!

Silveszter is a seven year old boy, who frequently goes for medical check ups to the SOTE Children’s Clinic kidney grade.
Silveszter lives his mother and sister in Pilivörösvár. He goes to kindergarden, but soon he will attend school.
We found out that Silveszter’s dream would be a two person electrical car, so not only he but, his sister could fit in next to him aswell. Silveszter is a very honest boy and he always thinks about his smaller sister.


We wish him a joyful time playing with the car!

Mercedes is a 14 year old little girl who lives in Szigethalom with her parents. She went through a lot of illnesses and medical attendance. When her state of health is better she loves horse riding. Luckily not far from where they live one of their friends has a horse that she can ride on. Merci helps out with taking care of the horses, she sometimes even cleans the stables.


The little girl’s request were different horse equipment, which we bought together. She chose a few professional books, riding boots, riding trousers, shirts, and from now Merci’s even going to sleep in bedlinen that has horses on.

We hope Merci uses all the things she got with a lot of care and happiness.

We gave Balázs the total surprise present on the 24th of February at the Tűzoltó street hospital. The seven year old little boy greeted us unsuspiciously and when I asked what he would wish from the Foundation, without thinking he said a Play Station game. Balázs was shocked when he received the present and unwrapped the little packet. His joy was unlimited, and with the help of his father he immediately started studying its functioning and after a few minutes passed by Balázs was playing with the beloved appliance forgetting all about his illness.

I met Kinga and her parents at the airport, Kinga and even her parents were very excited as well because up to now they never dared to set of for such a long journey. Kinga enjoyed the flight and when arriving in London she immediately started looking at the sites because she didn’t want to miss anything.

On the following day around 10 o’clock with the organization of theBritish Tours we took part in a three hour tour were they showed every significant scene were the Harry Potter film took part at.
For example when the area where Harry Potter gets when he pronounces the street name wrongly or the 9 and ¾ platform, the house where Ron takes Harry away from in his flying car and even the market where Harry did his shopping before he started the Roxford! And of course besides this we saw plenty of other interesting things.

The organised city tour finished at ½ 3 and by this time we got really hungry so we had a picnic in hide park. After we went towards the Buckingham Palace, then threw the Green Park towards the Big Ben were we got on a boat and didn’t stop all the way until the Tower Bridge.

On the third day we started of at Oxford Street where we found a huge toy shop, were of course Kinga found something for herself as well. We admired the huge screens on Piccadilly square where he had a look at the „Believe it or not” exhibition and got lost in the mirror labyrinth.


After taking a short rest, we went on the famous London Eye, and admired the view. Kinga’s wish for the last day was to look around in the Natural science museum and even found visited the mummies in the British Museum.

We had and unforgettable 4 days. I was astonished by Kinga’s preparedness, she was our little tour guide!!!!!

Adam’s favorites are story films, when I arrived he was watching his DVD player, but unfortunately because of his infusion he couldn’t get up from his bed, although he would have loved to jump out of bed and check the big TV that we were pushing in on the trolley. His face was glowing from happiness.

With the help of our sponsor Adam’s room has its own Tv as well!

His mother in a few days happily told us, they got the machine working, and since then the little boy watches storys all day and night!

Balázs really loves computer games so from our Foundation he asked for a Play Station 3.

With delight and huge knowledge Balázs turned the game on, and started playing with it, in a few seconds time he was enchanted by the machine.

Even a child has got a hobby it likes spending lots of time on. It is relaxing and makes one forget about the problems of life. This is fishing and bird-spotting for Attila. Thus, a big dream came true when the Foundation helped him go fishing and exploring the unique birdlife in the Danube Delta.

It was a great journey, from all aspects. A two-day travel across Romania followed by a 1.5 hours tugboat-trip took us to Chilia Veche, the one and only village of the Delta. We felt like travelling 50 years back in time; houses with rammed earth walls and thatched roofs, dirt roads, a variety of animals and agricultural population.

We sit in a tugboat right after arrival and went to explore this mysterious water-world. Sometimes it was hard to decide whether we should angle or just watch the scenery and the animals. This is an intact universe, still unexplored by our age and this is why it is so unique.

Being there was the realm of dreams for Attila. He, as all anglers, silently watched the catch and meanwhile observed the wide range of pelicans, cranes, geese, dippers, wild horses, beavers and water-lilies.

Not only was he able to see the size of the Danube but also the crystal-clear water of some lakes. Every day we took off from the camp early in the morning and used various canals to explore new places, waters, the beauty of which enchanted us.

In the evenings special dinners made of fish and big discussions on fishing and on this great universe made us forget about our fatigue.

On the way home we enjoyed the natural beauty of Transylvania. Attila was very happy about this journey and the multitude of experience he lived to see.

Timi,Lili and Dóri didn’t know each other till June 2010. They only knew that all of them were fond of dolphins. It was a big surprise for them that they could travel together to get to know their favourite animals.

The journey began with a „preliminary” adventure, since Dóri lived in Felsőzsolca and that time this settlement was a floodplain, almost totally blocked from the outside world. We had some worries about how to „rescue” her from home but nothing could be impossible for her parents and relatives. With a long detour, but Dóri also arrived at the airport on time.

Timi had difficulties with the last medical checks but finally she got the permission. Her doctor was also of the opinion that dolphins could only help the girl.

Lili took swimming lessons in case if she would have an opportunity to swim together with the dolphins.

Our plane to Rome took off on Saturday morning.
Mothers of the children as well as I thought that kids would like to have a rest at the hotel because they had got up very early in the morning. Certainly we were wrong. After a few minutes – according to the request of the kids – we went to visit the capital.
We were walking to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, we had lunch in a local restaurant, we went to the Pantheon and of course we couldn’t miss a Disney Shop.
We were very happy but tired when we went to bed that evening.

On Sunday our destination was Torvalanica, where the Italian „Dolphinarium” was built in 2006. It is operated by the Portugees, trainers and dolphins arrived from Portugal. We also got to know the fact that dolphins didn’t swim in the „sea” because its water became very cold in winter and the animals could get ill. Therefore pools should be permanently heated in winter-time.

Right after arriving we looked at the performances, we saw dolphins, seals, a lot of birds and the water slides of course. We didn’t know where to run to see all attractions.

Fortunately we were farseeing, so children could go even to swim. They asked us to stop at the beach on our way home since they had never seen the sea.
Unfortunately we had to postpone the „stroking of the dolphins”, because the appointment when the kids could visit them alone was arranged by Tuesday.
We were delighted to see the incredible attractions of the animals and to take photos of them, to ride the roller-coaster (and to survive it), to have fun in the amusement park, to swim in the sea and to collect shells. Everybody was very tired in the evening - namely the mothers – but kids were talking till midnight, they were looking at the photos and preparing for the next day.

On Monday we left for a sightseeing tour again as requested by the children. We visited Piazza del Popolo where the sun was shining so strong early in the morning that Lili, Timi and Dóri began interested in the fancy parasols sold by the local vendors. Soon we made a bargain with them and ten minutes later all of us went on with a new parasol.
First we visited the Church of St. Pietro in Vincoli to see the statue of Moses. Everybody liked it. Then we went to the Colosseum and we had a walking-tour there.
We had a fantastic lunch. When the waiters saw the pretty girls with us, they served the dishes dancing to be in high spirit.
After refreshing ourselves we went to see Forum Romanum and Bocca della Verita, the so called Mouth of Truth. This sculpture can be found in Church Santa Maria in Cosmedin. It is believed that if one tells a lie with one's hand in the mouth of the sculpture, it will be bitten off. We dared to ask Lili, Timi and Dóri only innocent questions, as: „Did you have a good time here near by the dolphins?” The definite answer was: „Yes, we did.” After leaving the spot we counted whether everybody had got both hands. Then we went downtown. Kids spent the evening with telling stories again and looking at photos.

On Tuesday morning, after a recreaction, our plan was to discover Castel Sant' Angelo, the Vatican City and St. Peter’s Basilica and of course we had to drop in on the dolphins.
As time went by we came more and more excited. Finally our car arrived to take us to the Dolphinarium.

After receiving a warm welcome, we had to place our packages and rings (not to hurt the skin of the dolphins) then our shoes were disinfected. A few minutes later we were squatting next to King. His name was a hit since he was the biggest dolphin. He playfully followed the instructions of his trainer. We got to know what the dolphins ate, how they were trained and cared for, how we could make difference between male and female, how they were taught when to jump and when to swim. Certainly, after a while King got bored of the long speech, he interrupted and provoked us. Soon it turned into such a discord that we had to send him away. He was offended at this and we had to offer him lots of fishes and pray for his return.
The girls were taught how to „instruct” the dolphins, so King could talk to them, he waved with his tail, he turned round and round, jumped and „laughed”.
It was a great experience for me, too. It is hard to say whether I preferred the attractions of the dolphins or the joy of the children. It makes sense to see their excitement and their joy.
We also got a farewell gift. Large balls with Zoomarine sign on them were given us at the exit. We foresaw it would be a problem to take them home.
Playing with the dolphins was followed by a bit of sliding, skipping and running again. Then we returned to Rome, we went to St. Peter’s Square again according to the request of the kids. Thanks to the kind security guard, we didn’t have to stand in a queue for 3 hours, he allowed us to go to the church to see the Pieta. After that we had to go back to the Disney Shop to buy large bags to carry the ZooMarine balls.

We asked the kids whether they would leave that large balls in Rome but the answer was a disapproval.

In the evening they wished to have dinner at Piazza Navona. Having big portions of spaghetti, tortellini and ice-creams, we were talking about the magnificent moments of the journey.
I think it must have been a long time ago when they enjoyed themselves so much.
Kids started up as they saw the illuminated fountain and the lights, they wanted to walk once again on the bank of the River Tevere. The adults were so tired but the children were still running. It is unbeliavable that we returned to our beautiful hotel as late as 23.00 o’clock.

Next day we said farewell to the hotel and the lovely employees who provided us with all the goodness and kindness during our stay. (We had a King-size beds. Might they name it after the dolphin?)

Our last adventure took place at the airport when raising a laugh the large balls caught in the X-ray-check box . Of course, the size was the problem.They asked me after the second ball: „How many else do you have?” I answered: „Just one more.”

I think these kids haven’t taken part in so many adventures for a long time.

Scientific researches prove that dolphins, like other animals can cure.

We wish Lili, Timi and Dóri to get well as soon as possible and once to have an opportunity to come back to their true friends with their own children.

We have planned to fly to Disneyland but as the the volcano in island started up its activity we prefered to drive to Paris. Oliver and Djuro, the two fathers, offered their cars as well that they would drive us.


After arriving we dropped by the hotel for our VIP passes and left to discover the two entertainment parks. One of them is called Disneyland Park and it shows all the cartoon figures and themes. The other one is the Walt Disney Studio Park which shows behind the scenes of film making.
As the kids travelling with us were between 14-18 years old we started off in Walt Disney Studio Park.


For the start we tried out the rollercoster called Rock ’n’ Roll. As we found out that this was the quickest rollercoaster in the whole park. It speeds up to 100 km/h within 2,8 seconds and those sitting in it are effected to 4,8 g force. The roller coster turned up side down several times. Peter, the doctor traveling with us, was wary of the the other roller coasters after trying out this one.
Luckily we had the chance to get hold of the so called ’fastpass’. This allowed us to enjoy the entertainment without standing in the queues for hours.
We tried out the elevator which was falling down from a 55 meter height in several stages. We visited a studio where we could see how the sepecial effects for Armageddon were made. When we were tired we could check out how the cartoons are made and we could watch films as well.
The afternoon we took part in a carnival parade. Next day at the same place the younger kids could meet up with their favourite cartoon heroes and Oliver made some photos with Doopey and got a signature from him.
Ricsi’s favourite was the show where the stunt drivers showed their skills which were taken by four cameras and shown to the viewers as a little action movie after the performance. We were a bit tired but happy when returning to our hotel at the Disney Newport Bay Club Before the dinner - which was booked for 22.15 in the Cape Cod restaurant - we enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna and bubble bath.
We went to sleep right after midnight and woke up at 6.30 which gave us enough time to see more or less everything in Disneyland Park.

We travelled on the Start Tours which took us for a ride to the world of Star Wars.
We visited the Frontierland which is a part of Wild West within the park. Nemanja’s favourite was the roller coaster which brought us through caves and mountains.
We travelled on the roller coaster of Indiana Jones in Adventure.
Fantasy land is more interesting for the younger kids. We had a walk here with Lilla while the other were killing the enemies of Buzz Lightyear.
Our evening passed by as the one before. After the dinner we visited the Disney Village full of hotels, movies and restaurants.

The next stop was the Eiffel tower where we could climb up to the top floor.

We were delighted to see the incredible attractions of the animals and to take photos of them, to ride the roller-coaster (and to survive it), to have fun in the amusement park, to swim in the sea and to collect shells. Everybody was very tired in the evening - namely the mothers – but kids were talking till midnight, they were looking at the photos and preparing for the next day.

On Monday we left for a sightseeing tour again as requested by the children. We visited Piazza del Popolo where the sun was shining so strong early in the morning that Lili, Timi and Dóri began interested in the fancy parasols sold by the local vendors. Soon we made a bargain with them and ten minutes later all of us went on with a new parasol.
First we visited the Church of St. Pietro in Vincoli to see the statue of Moses. Everybody liked it. Then we went to the Colosseum and we had a walking-tour there.
We had a fantastic lunch. When the waiters saw the pretty girls with us, they served the dishes dancing to be in high spirit.
After refreshing ourselves we went to see Forum Romanum and Bocca della Verita, the so called Mouth of Truth. This sculpture can be found in Church Santa Maria in Cosmedin. It is believed that if one tells a lie with one's hand in the mouth of the sculpture, it will be bitten off. We dared to ask Lili, Timi and Dóri only innocent questions, as: „Did you have a good time here near by the dolphins?” The definite answer was: „Yes, we did.” After leaving the spot we counted whether everybody had got both hands. Then we went downtown. Kids spent the evening with telling stories again and looking at photos.

On Tuesday morning, after a recreaction, our plan was to discover Castel Sant' Angelo, the Vatican City and St. Peter’s Basilica and of course we had to drop in on the dolphins.
As time went by we came more and more excited. Finally our car arrived to take us to the Dolphinarium.

After receiving a warm welcome, we had to leave our packages and rings (not to hurt the skin of the dolphins) then our shoes were disinfected. A few minutes later we were squatting next to King. His name was a hit since he was the biggest dolphin. He playfully followed the instructions of his trainer. We got to know what the dolphins ate, how they were trained and cared for, how we could make difference between male and female, how they were taught when to jump and when to swim. Certainly, after a while King got bored of the long speech, he interrupted and provoked us. Soon it turned into such a discord that we had to send him away. He was offended at this and we had to offer him lots of fishes and pray for his return.
The girls were taught how to „instruct” the dolphins, so King could talk to them, he waved with his tail, he turned round and round, jumped and „laughed”.
It was a great experience for me, too. It is hard to say whether I preferred the attractions of the dolphins or the joy of the children. It makes sense to see their excitement and their joy.
We also got a farewell gift. Large balls with Zoomarine sign on them were given us at the exit. We foresaw it would be a problem to take them home.
Playing with the dolphins was followed by a bit of sliding, skipping and running again. Then we returned to Rome, we went to St. Peter’s Square again according to the request of the kids. Thanks to the kind security guard, we didn’t have to stand in a queue for 3 hours, he allowed us to go to the church to see the Pieta. After that we had to go back to the Disney Shop to buy large bags to carry the ZooMarine balls.

We asked the kids whether they would leave that large balls in Rome but the answer was a disapproval.

In the evening they wished to have dinner at Piazza Navona. Having big portions of spaghetti, tortellini and ice-creams, we were talking about the magnificent moments of the journey.
I think it must have been a long time ago when they enjoyed themselves so much.
Kids started up as they saw the illuminated fountain and the lights, they wanted to walk once again on the bank of the River Tevere. The adults were so tired but the children were still running. It is unbeliavable that we returned to our beautiful hotel as late as 23.00 o’clock.

Next day we said farewell to the hotel and the lovely employees who provided us with all the goodness and kindness during our stay. (We had a King-size beds. Might they name it after the dolphin?)

Our last adventure took place at the airport when raising a laugh the large balls caught in the X-ray-check box . Of course, the size was the problem.They asked me after the second ball: „How many else do you have?” I answered: „Just one more.”

I think these kids haven’t taken part in so many adventures for a long time.

Scientific researches prove that dolphins, like other animals can cure.

We wish Lili, Timi and Dóri to get well as soon as possible and once to have an opportunity to come back to their true friends with their own children.

We have planned to fly to Disneyland but as the the volcano in island started up its activity we prefered to drive to Paris. Oliver and Djuro, the two fathers, offered their cars as well that they would drive us.


After arriving we dropped by the hotel for our VIP passes and left to discover the two entertainment parks. One of them is called Disneyland Park and it shows all the cartoon figures and themes. The other one is the Walt Disney Studio Park which shows behind the scenes of film making.
As the kids travelling with us were between 14-18 years old we started off in Walt Disney Studio Park.


For the start we tried out the rollercoster called Rock ’n’ Roll. As we found out that this was the quickest rollercoaster in the whole park. It speeds up to 100 km/h within 2,8 seconds and those sitting in it are effected to 4,8 g force. The roller coster turned up side down several times. Peter, the doctor traveling with us, was wary of the the other roller coasters after trying out this one.
Luckily we had the chance to get hold of the so called ’fastpass’. This allowed us to enjoy the entertainment without standing in the queues for hours.
We tried out the elevator which was falling down from a 55 meter height in several stages. We visited a studio where we could see how the sepecial effects for Armageddon were made. When we were tired we could check out how the cartoons are made and we could watch films as well.
The afternoon we took part in a carnival parade. Next day at the same place the younger kids could meet up with their favourite cartoon heroes and Oliver made some photos with Doopey and got a signature from him.
Ricsi’s favourite was the show where the stunt drivers showed their skills which were taken by four cameras and shown to the viewers as a little action movie after the performance. We were a bit tired but happy when returning to our hotel at the Disney Newport Bay Club Before the dinner - which was booked for 22.15 in the Cape Cod restaurant - we enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna and bubble bath.
We went to sleep right after midnight and woke up at 6.30 which gave us enough time to see more or less everything in Disneyland Park.

We took the bus to the park where a magical fairy tale world greeted us.
Andris tried out even three times the game where you can shoot with Buzz Lightyear at all the enemies from Toy story 2.
Our favourite was the roller coaster called Space Mountain Mission 2 where a huge cannon shoots you out to the dark galaxy.
We travelled on the Start Tours which took us for a ride to the world of Star Wars.
We visited the Frontierland which is a part of Wild West within the park. Nemanja’s favourite was the roller coaster which brought us through caves and mountains.
We travelled on the roller coaster of Indiana Jones in Adventure.
Fantasy land is more interesting for the younger kids. We had a walk here with Lilla while the other were killing the enemies of Buzz Lightyear.
Our evening passed by as the one before. After the dinner we visited the Disney Village full of hotels, movies and restaurants.

The next morning before leaving home we wanted to visit Paris. First of all we went to see the ’Arc de Triomphe’, to reach the top of it we had to climb 284 steps but it was worth as the view was amazing.
The next stop was the Eiffel tower where we could climb up to the top floor.
We said goodbye to Paris after conquering the tower and headed back to Budapest.
