I went to visit Cintia after Christmas, so I can deliver her wish.

I asked her mother that if possible, she should not mention my arrival to her, so we can surprise her. I was also very
nterested to know what type of girl someone with such a lovely sounding name. I was not disappointed. Cintis is a smiley girl with beautiful face. She was not entirely surprised when she invited us inside her home, but she is not a little kid anymore. She received the wonder of wish lamp with a warm and happy smile.

She never had her own smart phone before, so she was ecstatic when she could hold her own new iPhone SE.

After the initial set up she put in her new earphones and opened the world of the teens: she started using the net, listened to music, played a game, and can now do whatever she wishes

Emília loves to spend time in nature and to play in playground. She would wanted to have her own playground and this is what she wished for.

After a short time of organization the playground has arrived which was occupied straight away by her and her little brother. They spend hours in the garden every day, laugh and play a lot with their parents.

Gergő is a sweet big boy, who really desired to go home after a long and tiring hospitalisation.

His wish was an Xbox, so he can play exciting building or car games together with his siblings or alone. There came a time when his doctors finally released him home. Even though the biggest happiness for him came a few days later, when surprise of Magic Lamp has arrived.

I believe there isn’t a day now that Gergő or his siblings are getting bored...

Márk is interested in every kind of technical innovation, so it is not a surprise that he wished for a 3D printer.

The big boy arrived for a medical check to the Tűzoltó street hospital, when we called him that a heawy box had arrived for him and it can be taken home from the Office of the Magic Lamp Foundation. After the check up, they hurried to our office and took the printer for a longer journey, back to their home.

We are looking forward to all the wonderful things Márk will create with his new printer.

Zolika was just recently diagnosed. He comes from very hard living conditions where his mother raises him alone, so we wished to put a big smile on his face even more.

He would never be able to afford a mobile phone, something he was dreaming about, he would never have had a smart watch he couldn’t even dream about... I knew that it is a big gift for his age, but I just couldn’t resist those smart and wonderful eyes, that could talk.

Zolika thought he must come for a blood test to the hospital. I cooperated with his mother, so our white lie was easily believable. He did not suspect anything. I did not draw too much time as I could see in his big eyes that he was worried, so I quickly went to the cupboard and brought the smartphone and watch he always wanted.

You can imagine his surprise! He immediately opened the gift and started to use it. Although we could not hug me because of the current COVID-19 situation, even a blind mand would see the happiness and his bright smile.

He was indescribable happy and grateful. He could not stop saying thank you. He told us to tell his best wishes to the donors: "I hope that all of your days will be as happy as my day was today!"

Dóri would spend all her time on the playground, but due to her illness, now she is not allowed to play with other kids.

We could make the little girl overwhelmingly happy with the small playground to be built in their garden. She could not believe that she would have her own swing, slide, and monkey bars that she can use whenever she wants. If the weather is nice, she is always on her new playground. She is outside in the fresh air, climbing, sliding and if she gets tired relaxes on the swing. The healthy time outside will surely help her to get better and recuperate from her illness more quickly.

We are forever grateful for the repeated support of Mellow Mood Hotels as well as the new patronage of Fa-Bi-Ke Garden games and accessories, that helped us to realise the dream of Dóri.

Alexandra arrived for her regular check-up to the hospital in Tűzoltó street.

Because of the current cases with the pandemic we could only meet in front of the hospital, where the girl received her gift with great joy. Her dream was a smart watch, that not only shows the time, but it can be connected to her phone to show many other smart functions as well. Alexandra was very happy and could not wait to get home to connect and set up her new watch and try out all the smart functions.

We started off from Nyíregyháza to deliver a wish for the 17 year old Klára, who was waiting for us eagerly.

We were lovingly welcomed as the laptop is much needed for Klára, as she spends a lot of time at the hospital. After unwrapping the gift – supervised under the inquisitive eyes of her siblings- she happily put the new laptop into her lap. We wish her lots of healthy hours an fun to spend with the gift.

The face of klára tells us everything. She is very grateful for the Magic Lamp Foundation and its supporters for the gift.

While hospitalised and under constant treatment Anna could only lay in a bed. She was not even allowed to stand up. The all-day resting made the time in the hospital long and uncomfortable...

A laptop can be used in many different ways. It can help you to bear with the time you have to spend in the hospital. It can help you with your studies, you can read or watch a movie with its help.
There were smiles on all the faces around when Annas wish became reality. The rest of the days at the hospital will hopefully became much shorter and much more entertaining.

The happy smile on Anna’s faces tells everything. She was more than gratefulfor her beautiful brand new laptop.

Márk’s wish was a new couch to his room. He had already seen it somewhere, so he knew exactly what kind of furniture to ask from the Magic Lamp Foundation.

It took some time to get the requested couch but Márk was extremely happy when it finally arrived. The new couch became the centerpiece of his room.

Dávid Róbert is keen on animals: he had been riding before his disease got worse and now he enjoys playing with his dog, Fortuna. He also likes reading, playing Lego and computer games.

Dávid learns diligently, his favourite subject is environmental studies and his favourite computer game is Planet Zoo. Unfortunatelly his computer was too old to run that game, so he decided to ask for a new laptop from the Magic Lamp.

We gladly fulfilled his wish and Dávid was really happy and enthusiastic when he installed his new computer. He can use it for playing and learning as well.

Mád, 3rd June, 2020.

We met Rami and Gréti on June 21st at the Liszt Ferenc airport, to go to Malta and pet dolphins. The flight was already very exciting for both girls, as that was the first time they went on a plane. After landing, a minibus took us to Mellieha. That took 45 minutes, during which they saw the sea they have always dreamt of seeing. We stayed at Luna Holiday Complex and explored the beach and port, where many small sail boats and boats were waiting for passengers.

The following morning, we waited impatiently for the car to arrive, that took our little group to Park Mediterraneo, where we spent the entire day. We found each animal show fascinating and breathtaking, the first one of which started off with the feeding of a South American coati. The parrot show’s pretty and smart participants showed great success, not only for the children, but also the adults in the audience. After, the seals demonstrated their playfulness and skills. They danced to music, clapped and jumped at the sight of the audience’s joy.

After this came the most spectacular attraction, which was the main reason we came here for. The dolphins in their pool completed funny and kind challenges, which the animators rewarded with fish snacks. They left the audience with their jaws dropped with their gigantic jumps, high-pitched whistling and sense of rhythm. After the show came the moment for Gréti and Rami to finally pet the dolphins. Obviously following the hygiene rules, they sat beside the pool to touch the approaching animals. The girls’ faces were filled with joy, shown by their enormous smiles, as their lifelong dream just came true. The rest of the afternoon we just spent walking in the park and also watching the snake show. The third day was spent at the beach tanning and swimming. That afternoon was then spent on an amazing boat ride that took us into caves. We then stopped at the infamous Blue Cave for an hour of resting and swimming, after which we returned to Mellieha.

On the last day, we took a walk on the beach to say goodbye to the sea and the marvellous view. Later that day we got onto the plane, a little tired, but certainly happy from all the adventures, to return to Budapest.

Thank you for this wonderful trip, so Rami’s wish could come true!

The little boy was still in the hospital, when the desired tree house was built in their garden. So, after a few days when he went home, a huge surprise awaited him.

Zsombi’s joy had no limits: he went around inside and outside the house multiple times, looking curiously out the window. He really loved the car patterned window, that was specifically made for him by Kuckófalva.

He asked his parents to paint the house green and the roof red, in order to make it truly fairy tale-like.

Fruzsi is a very kind and quiet girl.

Her illness unfortunately got worse, so she still has a long road ahead of her. She is getting treatment both in Miskolc and Debrecen. She needs a lot of perseverance, sadly she will not be able to meet as often with her friends. This is why she thought a tablet would be helpful in spending her free time efficiently. Of course, this way she can keep in contact with her family and friends a lot easier, while under treatment.

Fruzsi also would have liked a case that is also a stand, so as it would be a lot more comfortable to use the tablet at a table or even in bed.

I believe we were able to please Fruzsi by surprising her with a truly beautiful, girlysh tablet, and of course the special case.

Attila was waiting for his hospital treatment when I knocked on his door with the gift provided by Magic Lamp Foundation.

The little present arrived with perfect timing, because it helped the long waiting hours for the treatment to pass quickly.

Attila was unwrapping the gift with a big smile on his face. He already suspected that it might be his favourite type and brand. He was really happy, he had wanted since ages this elegant red Samsung phone for a long time.

It was wonderful to see how we could make a teenager boy so happy with a little surprise present.

We met Nimród and his mother in a mall one afternoon in Nyíregyháza.

It took a lot of planning and effort to arrange his gift, with each day passing making his excitement grow. Once the day finally came, he opened the box impatiently with eyes glimmering with joy, revealing his new laptop. Nimród goes still to school, however his illness sadly causes him to be hospitalized often. Thankfully, with the laptop, he will still be able to continue his studies even when he cannot attend school.

We wish him nothing but happiness and success in the use of his new device.

Tibor is a young gentleman who loves foreign languages. Currently, he is learning English. In his free time, he likes to ride his motorbike.

He told us he is really interested in smartphones, he is always keeping track on the releases, new special features and developments.
He described his wish as: My biggest wish is a cosmos gray new Samsung smartphone, because I always wanted a top-class phone from my favorite brand.

Even though Csodalámpa couldn’t provide the Top-class phone, we surprised Tibor with a prism black Samsung Galaxy S9. Tibor was really touched by the present and wrote us a little thank you note:

We would like to thank the students and teachers of the American International School of Budapest for their decade long support. With their help, we could really surprise Tibor.

Zsombor doesn’t have any brothers or sisters, he is an only child and his hobby is photography. He has a professional camera which he always carries with himself. It was not unexpected that he is going to wish for something photography related from our Foundation.

Not long after his 18th birthday, the surprise arrived. A really special and professional camera lens.

We arranged the special meeting in a parking lot, as we couldn’t visit him in the hospital due to the Virus lockdown. Zsombor’s father told him he is going to meet someone there. He accepted his father’s explanation, he didn’t really ask for details. He didn’t know what is going to happen, but after he saw me waiting for him, he figured it out slowly.

The parking lot immediately got filled with happiness. He even had his camera with him, so he made some pictures of this happy moment.

He is really grateful that his dream came true. He is wishing the best for the Team in Magic Lamp Foundation and for everybody who helped fulfilling his wish.

I hope from all my heart that we helped him with his photography career, as he is remarkably talented and creative.

Ricardo and his family live in a nice house in Maklár with a big garden. The little boy doesn’t have any brothers or sisters, he is an only child. He spends a lot of time playing in the garden and he really wanted a little playground for himself as he is not allowed to got to public playgrounds.

He asked for a nice playground with a slide, 2 swings, climbing wall and a tiny house in it from Magic Lamp Foundation. He got really surprised when a big car arrived at his house with some pieces of wood and toys on top. Ricardo Immediately wanted to help assamble the playground When it finally got ready, he enjoyed it so much he didn’t want to leave the swing. He said even goodbye while he was sliding down on his new slide...

It has been a long time ago since we have seen such a big smile on his face...
