Máté has spent several months in the hospital multiple times. He was either a private student or could sometimes be able to join classes with his classmates.

When he can, he loves cycling and rollerblading with his friends.

He asked Magic Lamp for a gamer monitor and a super gamer headset.

At the hospital, we fulfilled Máté’s wish, making him extremely happy. Luckily, they could leave the hospital the next day to try the Fortnite and the car simulator games, which he was so excited about.

We wish Máté a speedy recovery!

Maté's mum has sent us the following letter:

"Dear FirstMed!

On behalf of my son Máté, we are grateful for the generous donation! He is so pleased with the gamer set.

Máté is a very strong and cheerful boy who has recently turned 14.

Today we were sent home from the hospital, and the first thing we had to do was set up the monitor. The earphones make the experience even more exciting for him.

We are very grateful and thank you very much again.

The previously active athlete underwent major surgery. He got a lot of additional hospital treatment since last summer. He still can't socialize, and he misses his sports friends very much. Before his illness, he was already interested in making a video. He wanted a more serious computer for it. But life brought something else.

With the help of a generous donor, his wish of getting a computer is now fulfilled. He is happily learning how to work the computer, developing the lost knowledge and skills.

Dear Áron, we wish you a full recovery!

Dominic will have a major operation, after which he will not be able to go to school for a longtime. From Magic Lamp, he wanted a laptop to continue his studies remotely and keep in touch with his classmates and friends until they could meet again. Of course, he will watch his favorite movies on it and download a game or two to it in his free time.

It is special for us that we could surprise Dominic with this laptop before Christmas.

Kristóf is an intelligent, very mature, and humble teenage boy. He wanted a laptop of his own, so I forwarded his request to Magic Lamp. His joy was indescribable when the laptop was handed over to him.

Marcell was looking forward to our arrival very much. He was stationed by the window all day, looking out expectantly.

His joy became even more exuberant when he received his new laptop. He quickly unpacked it and turned it on.
A few minutes later, he was already listening to his favourite music. He just kept smiling and smiling and thanking us.
He was completely immersed in listening to and exploring new music.

He created a warm, intimate mood with his selection of Xmas music. We got in a festive spirit too, because we saw that we found a good home for the laptop.

We succeeded again in putting a smile on a sick child's face.

Mate is a quiet young man, who loves playing with remote-controlled toys. He also enjoys building LEGO sets. So, he combined his two passions when he made a wish to Magic Lamp: He wanted a phone app-controlled LEGO bulldozer. He knew that it was a big challenge, and the assembly would require enormous patience, but his wish was serious and thoughtful.

Lately he had been listless, showing no interest in playing or studying. But then suddenly came the message: his wish arrived at the Magic Lamp office.

I could not hide the package when I went to the hospital to see Mate. It was so huge that I needed help to carry it in. But Mate did not realize that the big box was his when he saw it in my hands. When I said casually that his eagerly awaited LEGO had arrived, his eyes started to sparkle.

“Is it really mine?”, he asked. He quickly sat up in his bed and made room for the gigantic box.
“Thank you!”, he kept repeating.

He asked me to visit him every day this week to see his progress with the assembly.

Martin has started to work on his career. He is studying to be a cook and he has already assisted chefs in a restaurant. We were lucky to see his talent by tasting some of the cakes he had made, for which we thank him very much.

In his spare time he doesn't just bake and cook, he also likes to play computer games. So he asked the Magic Lamp Foundation for a video card.

Elina's dream was a tablet to play games and watch fairy tales and cartoons, either at home or in hospital.

She was very happy to get her present. Now, her favourite fairytale characters can be taken with her wherever she goes.

Marcell can not sit in a regular swing due to his illness, so he asked for a nest swing.

I visited the little boy and after a while we became friends. I put the swing up, he was very interested in it and immediately asked his mum to place him in the swing. He said very sweetly "thank you for the swing" and smiled at me. He really enjoyed it and we hope this joy will last for a long time and give him the strength to overcome the difficulties. Once again we have managed to put a big smile on the face of a sick child!

Vanessza would like to become a hairdresser, but she is also interested in cosmetics.
Due to the hospital treatments, recently she has not been allowed to attend social activities, including school.

The 9-year-old Zsuzsika (Suzy) who lives in Tiszabura is treated at the Debrecen University Clinic. As she is studying according to an individual program, she asked the Magic Lamp for a laptop to help her in her studies.

The little girl was waiting for us wearing a beautiful white dress.

She was excited and happy when she opened the big box containing the silver laptop.

The new laptop was immediately activated by her siblings. They downloaded games and movies from the Internet and called one of Zsuzsi's little friends on Messenger to tell her how happy she was to get the laptop she had been longing for.

Rudi is an athletic young man, who loves challenges. He has been doing karate for 10 years and has earned a brown belt. In addition, he participates in professional road bicycle training.

Lili is a charming little girl, brimming with life. She loves unicorns. Thus nobody got surprised when she wished for a "huge" talking plush unicorn.

Of course, the big box was also hiding several other surprises: A storybook about unicorns, a stamp set, and several creative games. And because Lili is going to start first grade soon, she also received a unicorn alarm clock and a pencil case.

She opened everything with great enthusiasm, while kept asking: "Is this really all mine??"

The plush unicorn quickly became Lili's favourite and she would not part with it for the world anymore:)

Gábor contacted our foundation with an unusual request. He said he knew that children usually ask for other types of presents, but due to the fact that he and his family live in a very poor region, he would really like to be given a shower cabin where he can take a shower comfortably.

Certainly the Magic Lamp Foundation granted this rather special wish, bringing joy to a sick child living in difficult circumstances.

Boglárka used to go to kindergarten until she became ill and was hospitalised.

She missed her brothers, her dad and her little friends from the kindergarten very much. So, she asked the Magic Lamp to find a way to bring somehow all the people she loves to the hospital...

The Genie of the Magic Lamp fulfilled her wish by giving a tablet to Boglárka as a means to contact her loved ones from home.

It was so touching to see the joy on her face when she saw her brothers and father, and then her kindergarten teachers and classmates on the screen of the tablet.
The little friends said they were looking forward to seeing her back at kindergarten and wished her a speedy recovery!

Tamara is a smiling, energetic, lively little girl.

We met Tamara in the afternoon at the hospital after her treatment. Her excitement and joy were overwhelming when she saw her present in the red bag.
